Daygon07 00:34
You can find new episodes released every week, and I'm Daygon07 and with me is always as WildTwinsFan. And in this premiere episode we'll be introducing ourselves, our backgrounds,
Daygon07 00:43
and the thing we want from you is we want to find out what makes you passionate about gaming and streaming.
Daygon07 00:48
And while we're talking about you, we would love it if you followed us across all of our social media channels @agamingmoment, All one word on Tiktok, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram and Facebook so we can get to know you better. We also live stream episode, so it's important to follow us on these social channels to see when we're streaming the podcast.
Daygon07 01:06
Okay, Wild the Man, The Myth, The Absolute Legend. Why don't you start off by introducing yourself to the audience?
WildTwinsFan 01:12
Thanks for the intro Day. I'm a husband and father to two teens. Gaming and electronics are a big part of our household.
WildTwinsFan 01:19
I've been gaming 30 plus years in both on console and PC. I also have a day job 25 years plus in the power industry.
WildTwinsFan 01:27
I pretty much started full time PC gaming back in 2015 after Reddit convinced me I could build my own gaming PC. Early on with my gaming PC I really wanted to run some SIM rigs with racing and flying games, but I never found anything that quite hooked me until I found PUBG.
WildTwinsFan 01:45
I had the game within the week of its release on Steam. As a father to two young kids, I thought I could learn the skills to help my kids to learn to be good content creators and streamers. Little did I know that I'd get hooked myself, although that being said, raising two gamer kids in a house with a non gaming wife has some challenges. I started streaming in 2018 and I'm live on Twitch and YouTube several times a week.
WildTwinsFan 02:09
I also occasionally throw in some live streams on Facebook, Live and even Glamis. I love nothing more than gaming and especially trolling my large group of friends while live on Twitch.
WildTwinsFan 02:20
I gotta get them clips. I gotta keep creating those gaming moments. I'm currently working on building up my YouTube channel.
WildTwinsFan 02:27
I'm super competitive and to my detriment sometimes a little whiny. In addition, I'm also a foodie and I know how to find and cook great recipes.
WildTwinsFan 02:36
I also love tracking down some of the best foods in my area, and sharing my family's food adventures on our Instagram.
WildTwinsFan 02:43
Enough About me Day. How about yourself? Why don't you tell the listeners what makes you tick?
Daygon07 02:48
So I'm an avid gamer of 20 plus years, both on console and PC. I'm also a bit of a tech junkie, so during the day I'm a web developer and a marketing professional in the cybersecurity industry, and at night I'm a content creator across both Twitch and YouTube.
Daygon07 03:04
I'm fortunate enough to have company send me products to review, but I also purchase and test products on my own.
Daygon07 03:09
And being a coder and a content creator, I love digging into the nuts and bolts of how things work in our industry and how to hone my craft.
Daygon07 03:16
Being a marketer, I love finding new ways to teach content creators how they can amplify their brand.
Daygon07 03:21
I've been streaming and creating content since 2017. Recently, I've had a larger focus on YouTube where I really enjoy shooting, editing and producing videos such as product reviews, tech tutorials, streaming tips and tricks, and marketing for streamers and content creators. As a gamer, I'm huge into FPS games as well as sports games.
Daygon07 03:41
More recently, I've gotten more into competitive gaming at the amateurish level, and I'm still learning the nuances of that world.
Daygon07 03:47
I'm super competitive, and I will have the occasional rage fit where I mute discord and go off on my teammates without them knowing unless they're watching my stream.
Daygon07 03:55
I'm a husband to a hobbyist gamer and a father of three boys, the oldest of which has gotten into live streaming and content creation.
Daygon07 04:02
My middle son is just now getting into gaming via Minecraft and ROBLOX, and my youngest hasn't quite gotten there yet.
Daygon07 04:08
But it's coming. But that's enough about me, Wild. Let's introduce the community of the podcast. Why don't you tell them what it's about?
WildTwinsFan 04:14
So each week we'll start off with a couple of weekly topics. These topics are going to be the ones we're going to go a little bit deeper into and help you see some of the angles you might not have considered. This is also where we'll have an occasional expert and guest on the podcast.
WildTwinsFan 04:28
Then we'll move on to our general weekly banter. We kind of consider this our bread and butter of the podcast, the real goals and the motivations for us starting this podcast, the stuff you would have only heard us talking about in Discord, in game, and on stream.
WildTwinsFan 04:42
Our weekly general banter segment is where we talk about the weekly news and gaming, streaming and technology.
Daygon07 04:48
We'll go over topics ranging from the news and hot game releases to tech for your next PC build or upgrade.
Daygon07 04:54
This is also where we like to keep you updated on some of the industry's biggest players like Twitch, Meta, Facebook, YouTube, Apple, Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo, Intel, Nvidia and AMD, and of course Steam and Epic Games, and any other challengers in the market. Maybe we'll even introduce you to some up and coming players like TheNetVR, DLive, Trovo, Glimesh, and BrimeTV. I mean, is that platform even a real service?
WildTwinsFan 05:20
Not quite sure yet. We'll see. We'll also keep you updated on big stories that affect streamers and content creators across the industry.
WildTwinsFan 05:27
Part of what makes A Gaming Moment different from the other podcasts is, yes, we focus on streaming and content creation, but not so much that regular content consumers and gamers would find these topics overwhelming. To add some transparency, we do have some biases. We're both avid in enthusiastic PUBG and Call of Duty players. Dig On is also a DrDisrespect fanboy.
Daygon07 05:50
I mean, I just find his content super entertaining and whatever he does, it always makes waves in the industry.
WildTwinsFan 05:57
Absolutely Doc is a legend. But that being said, I'm a little bit more on Team Timmy and TimTheTatman, and I love to see him riff on foody TikToks and I love the banter he gets going between him and Doc.
Daygon07 06:10

Daygon07 07:10
We'll take those two. The point is for us, we'd like to get to know our audience and our audience, to get to know us.
WildTwinsFan 07:16
Yeah, and if you have an awesome response to a question of the week from a previous episode, we might even mention that on a following episode.
